Who are we?

We are a group of officers and enlisted airmen who are specifically dedicated to helping airmen create and learn in a respectful environment. We have a variety of backgrounds and skills that we can leverage to help anyone who comes through our door to find success on any project.

What do we do?

We offer a range of services, including:

  • Laser etching/engraving/cutting

  • 3D scanning

  • 3D modeling

  • 3D printing

  • Augmented/virtual reality environments and equipment to develop new tools and training in

  • Virtual reality flight simulators of dozens of aircraft, including most current operational aircraft

    • We have a number of pilots on staff who are able to provide introductory flight training using the VR sim.

    • Practice before applying to UPT!

  • We provide organic capability generation for the B-2 and Whiteman AFB community.

    • We do this by connecting airmen with the acquisition community of engineers, program managers, and logisticians to have their ideas heard, funded, and incorporated into the mission architecture of the USAF.

    • No idea is too small or large to bring to us and workshop.

    • We use our office's fabrication capabilities in partnership with other organizations on base to rapidly progress through an iterative prototyping process for new ideas.

  • We are the de facto Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) office for WAFB.

    • We work with AFWERX to connect SBIR companies with motivated end users at WAFB to produce new capabilities at speed and affordable costs for every aspect of the Whiteman set.
